Exposure monitoring as a program, not a one-time sample

Monitor on a cadence. Close the loop in software.

Plan → Sample → Interpret → Control → Re-sample with CIH oversight and Provisio EHS tracking.

What Exposure Monitoring Is NOT

Pump Drop + PDF

Consultant drops pumps, lab sends results, PDF lands in a shared drive. No interpretation. No controls. No follow-up.

Panic-Only Sampling

Sample when OSHA shows up or an employee complains. Reactive, scattered, and defensible only if you're lucky.

Software-Free Paper Piles

Lab reports stacked in a binder. Nobody tracks whether controls were implemented or when re-sampling is due.

Exposure Monitoring Program Flow

A structured program moves from characterization through control verification, not a one-and-done sample.

1

Characterize

Inventory hazards, map similar exposure groups (SEGs), and prioritize monitoring. Know what you're exposed to before you sample.

2

Plan

Design a sampling strategy: what to sample, where, when, how many samples, and what regulatory context applies (PELs, RELs, TLVs).

3

Sample

Deploy calibrated sampling equipment with proper chain-of-custody. Personal and area samples per the plan. Lab coordination included.

4

Interpret

A CIH interprets results against applicable limits, evaluates exposure profiles, and determines whether controls are adequate or action is required.

5

Control

Recommend engineering, administrative, or PPE controls. Specify verification criteria. Findings enter Provisio EHS as corrective actions with owners and due dates.

6

Record

Document everything in Provisio EHS: sampling results, interpretations, control recommendations, CAPA status, and verification photos.

7

Repeat

Schedule follow-up sampling per cadence requirements or process changes. Loop back to Step 3 and close the cycle.

Exposure Monitoring Modules

We monitor what your operation requires. Common modules are listed below; scope varies by facility and exposure profile.

Noise & Hearing Conservation

Personal dosimetry, area measurements, octave band analysis, hearing conservation program support, and audiometric coordination.

Silica Monitoring

Respirable crystalline silica sampling per OSHA 1926.1153/1910.1053, interpretation, control recommendations, and Table 1 compliance support.

Welding Fumes & Metals

Metal fume exposure assessment for chromium, nickel, manganese, and other welding byproducts. LEV evaluation and PPE selection guidance.

Solvents & VOCs

Volatile organic compound sampling for paint operations, degreasing, coating, and chemical processes. Control verification included.

Construction Multi-Employer

Exposure monitoring for GCs and subs: silica, noise, lead, and other construction-specific hazards. Multi-employer documentation.

Control Verification

Follow-up sampling to verify engineering and administrative controls reduced exposures as intended. Close the loop with data.

Provisio EHS Integration

Exposure monitoring findings don't die in a PDF. They become tracked corrective actions in Provisio EHS.

Findings as CAPA

Sampling results that require action enter Provisio EHS as corrective actions with owners, due dates, and priority.

Control Verification

When controls are implemented, upload verification photos and close the action. Audit-ready documentation.

Management Reporting

Pull reports for leadership review: open CAPAs, overdue actions, exposure trends, and program status.

The Next Generation of Safety Consultations

A traditional consultant gives you a report of findings. Provisio gives you a solution: audit findings turned into tracked corrective actions inside Provisio Core.

01

Step 01: Intelligent Discovery

Expert-led OSHA compliance audits that provide more than just a PDF report; they provide a roadmap.

02

Step 02: Actionable Implementation

We break down findings into specific tasks within the Provisio Core, ready for immediate assignment.

03

Step 03: Performance & Scale

Empower your team with individual accountability and data-driven insights to maintain a 100% compliance rate.

What Working With Provisio Looks Like

A clear, structured process from first call to measurable improvements.

Discovery Call

Week 0

20-30 minutes to understand your operations, risks, and objectives. We determine whether you need audits, sampling, program development, or fractional support.

Proposal & Scope

Week 1

You receive a clear proposal with scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing. No hidden fees. No vague language.

On-Site Work & Data Collection

Weeks 2-4

We conduct audits, sampling, interviews, and document reviews. You'll always know who is on-site and what they're doing.

Findings & Recommendations

Weeks 4-6

You receive a prioritized report, mapped to regulations, with practical recommendations and estimated effort.
